The original, best-selling, hypo-allergenic and nickel-free mascara for dry or sensitive eyes, blepharitis and contact lens wearers.

This high-tolerance, smudge-proof mascara, has a very low wax content, is totally compatible with contact lenses and lengthens even the most sensitive lashes.

Apply mascara from base to tip. A second coat to thicken lashes will increase the illusion of length.

All the hypo-allergenic Eye Care Cosmetics mascaras are ultra-micronised to avoid risk of irritation and all packs, brushes (guaranteed nickel-free) and applicators sterilised before packing, to guarantee maximum safety during usage. Particularly suitable for contact lens wearers.

    Mascara

    Brown black. At last mascara which doesn't make my eyes sore. I have been looking for mascara for blepharitis sufferers and at last I have found some. The high street chains just don't stock make up for blepharitis sufferers and it's a real problem.

    Lovely dark blue

    I’ve not tried this blue colour and having naturally blonde eyelashes I was wondering if it would look right. It does suit my colouring of blue eyes and fair hair. It applies easily onto my fine eyelashes and stays on well. No flaking and no irritation which is unusual for me. A gentle range of mascara, good for sensitive eyes.

    The New Normal

    Having recently been diagnosed with mgd I have had to totally change how I treat my eyes as makeup became my enemy.

    Now with a good routine - eyelid wipes, daily use of heated eye mask, eyelid wash I am back to wearing eye makeup including this mascara which my eyes tolerate well. I also use a specialist eye makeup remover so am having no issues with this mascara. All good!

    Disappointed

    I recently purchased Eye Care High Tolerance Mascara as I suffer from dry eyes. Sadly I found that this mascara did not work at all for me. I applied the mascara and within a few minutes the mascara had run all down my face. I’m very disappointed as the mascara sounded perfect for my dry eyes.

    Hello Susan
    I am sorry to read that the High Tolerance Mascara didn’t stay on your lashes.
    I have been in touch to ask if your dry eyes cause them to over water.

    I find this happens to my eye makeup too as my eyes must leak slightly. I find the Volumising Mascara holds better, it has a newer formulation. There is also a water-resistant one.
    There is a balance between avoiding the ‘holding’ ingredients that can be irritating and creating a mascara that stays on.

    As you say, Eye Care Cosmetics are ideal for dry eyes, they have been shown to improve the symptoms and comfort. I hope we can help you to find the perfect mascara. Apply a small amount to the outer lash tips as a patch test if you do decide to re-order.
