Running from the 27th June to the 3rd of July, this year's Macular Week organised by The Macular Society aims to raise awareness of an eye condition relating to the macula - an important but very small area for seeing at the back of the eye. Here's Mac the Macula's poster. . . .he's only the size of a grain of rice!!
At the recent Vision Pioneer Awards, the individual finalists and teams gathered at The Grange Tower Hotel in London for an awards evening. They are all at the forefront of eye health and sight loss best practice, working alone or in hospital eye clinics around the country. They strive to constantly innovate and improve the support and treatment offered to those presenting with eye health problems, often including those who are blind or partially sighted but have been previously overlooked.
Last Friday the scene was set for the Cherwell Business Awards 2016 at Begbroke Science Park in Oxfordshire. The marquee was beautifully dressed and the stage lit up for our host Kirsty Leahy of Banbury Sound.
This week, we have headed up the motorway to the ICC, Birmingham for the The Royal College of Ophthalmologists Annual Congress 2016. Every year, we hire a stand and take Viteyes brochures, samples and pens to give out to the delegates as we tell them about Viteyes - our nutritional supplement for macular degeneration.
