A warm welcome

To all of our valued and loyal customers, we are excited to announce that Butterflies Eyecare has acquired Eye Lounge.

We welcome the opportunity to continue the excellent customer service and product range carefully curated and nurtured by Eye Lounge over recent years.

Dale Woodhead, formerly Managing Director at Eye Lounge commented;

"As Eye Lounge closes its doors, we take comfort in knowing that our legacy of trust, value, and transparency will live on through Butterflies, whose values align with our own, ensuring a seamless continuation of accessible and exceptional eye care."

Our values and commitments

We would like to assure Eye Lounge customers of our future commitment to expand and grow this successful website which aligns with so many of our founding values and service, which include;

Our aims

We aim to maintain our position as the leading ‘site for sore eyes’ to help those with dry or sensitive eyes, blepharitis and macular degeneration improve or manage their eye health.

Over the last 20 years, we have forged strong relationships with our suppliers, opticians and ophthalmologists and we regularly attend optical conferences and shows to keep ourselves ahead of new research and products.

About Us

With James as an optician and Michelle a pharmacist at the helm, our professional backgrounds and registrations ensure that our Banbury-based business is run with the highest integrity for both our new and existing customers. In fact, this year we are proud to be celebrating an incredible 20 years in business.

James has a family history of macular degeneration and a love of swimming, Michelle has sensitive skin and a special interest in natural health and vitamin supplements. Together they formed their parent company Butterflies Healthcare (in response to customer requests in their workplaces) supplying Viteyes, prescription swimming goggles/diving masks, dry eye treatments and cosmetics for sensitive eyes and skin.

The leading site for sore eyes

With over 1,000 products in stock, we aim to maintain our position as the leading ‘site' for sore eyes® to help those with dry or sensitive eyes, blepharitis and macular degeneration improve or manage their eye health.
