Supplements for Cataracts

A cataract is a clouding of the lens in the eye. Normally the lens is clear and sits behind the iris and pupil and focuses light onto the back of the eye. When it becomes clouded, vision is hazy and blurred. It is caused by the proteins in the lens sticking together and usually happens as we grow older. The condition can be resolved by a day operation to replace the lens with a plastic one.
