Cationorm eye drops (triple action formula)
Cationorm is a hydrating and lubricating emulsion which protects the ocular surface and relieves discomfort and irritation due to the symptoms of dry eye.
For mild to severe dry eye symptoms, Cationorm is the first and only of its kind artificial tear to use ionic technology to spread fast across the surface of the eye for long-lasting hydration and relief.
Cationorm's clinically proven triple-acting formula helps to:
- Restore moisture and maintain hydration
- Protect the surface of the eye
- Relieve discomfort and irritation
Cationorm is contained in a bottle known as a 'preservative-free multi-dose bottle'. This means you can keep using Cationorm without preservatives impacting your ocular surface health.
Once open, Cationorm should be stored for no more than three months.
For best results, apply one drop in each eye 1 to 4 times daily, at the first signs of discomfort.
- Wash your hands thoroughly.
- Tilt your head back and gently pull down your lower eyelid and look up.
- Hold the bottle above your eye, gently squeeze one drop and blink several times.
- Do not touch your eye or eyelashes with the tip of the bottle.
Cationorm is also suitable for contact lens wearers.
If you are unsure about your diagnosis, please speak to your doctor or pharmacist. Always read the label.

It’s a great pity that these drops don’t come in a better designed bottle. I will not be purchasing them again as the bottle is far too difficult to use. I am not yet very elderly but feel sure that no one with hand strength issues would be able to get the drops out of this bottle. The drops themselves have a good lubricating affect .

The dropper needs a bit of patience, this video shows a better way to hold the bottle, explains why it gets harder to squeeze and what is going on inside the bottle.

Really getting on well with the eye drops. My eyes feel less dry and for longer periods of time.. The only
bother I have is the dropper. You have to squeeze the bottle so hard to get the eye drops out and as the level
in the bottle decreases, it becomes even more difficult to squeeze. So a slightly softer bottle would be
helpful.
