Cellusan are lubricating, preservative-free eye drops containing 1.0% carboxymethylcellulose sodium (carmellose sodium).

Suitable for use throughout the day to provide soothing, long-lasting relief and protection against burning, irritation and discomfort due to moderate to severe dry eyes as well as environmental factors.

Also available as individual preservative-free vials.

Can be used with contact lenses.

    Gently moisturising bringing relief.

    Been using this for a week now and they are lovely. They don’t irritate my sensitive eyes and the drops feel nourishing. Such a relief as most drops contain sodium hyaluronate that really irritates and causes pain and swelling all around. I will definitely be sticking to these.

    Good product.

    I have dry eyes and blepharitis which flares up from time to time.

    I put in 2 drops twice a day or more if I feel I need to. They seem to control the dryness very efficiently.

    I agree with someone else that they are difficult to use sometimes if you have arthritic fingers.

    I was initially prescribed these at an NHS eye care centre for posterior blepharitis and contact dermatitis. They've worked well and my eyes are back to normal. The only criticism I would make is the plastic bottle can be hard to squeeze
