DemEx is an effective foaming cleanser designed to improve general eye lid and lash hygiene which contains 4-terpineol (T4O) the active extract from tea-tree oil.

Developed by a UK based optometrist, DemEx consists of a synergistic blend of a number of plant-origin ingredients developed to be specifically effective against both:

  • Demodex Folliculorum (Blepharitis/lash follicle)
  • Demodex Brevis (Meibomian gland) conditions

This foaming cleanser contains the active ingredient, T40 (4-terpineol) which is derived from tea tree oil and is most effective against Demodex.

Massaged gently in by clean fingers, the DemEx cleanser removes harmful micro-organisms from the eyelids, the lash follicles, and eyebrows. It is then rinsed off.

With a pleasant, cool sensation DemEx has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties meaning that it can also be used as a soothing anti-bacterial face wash. .

    Recommend by doctor due to 2 cysts in my eye, just my 2nd week, its a 8 week course, so far I can see a huge difference and again it does exactly as the description.

    Best eye cleanser out there

    Having tried almost all the eye cleansers I could find I've settled on this as my favourite. It doesn't have to stay on the eyes for ages, it's foaming so is easy to spread everywhere and easy to rinse off, and it has just the tiniest sting - which I actually rather like, as it leaves me feeling more awake!
