DermaSilk Therapeutic Clothing is designed in various styles and sizes and is now even being used as a base garment by people taking part in sports and leisure activities to help regulate body temperature and absorb moisture.

The DermaSilk Therapeutic Eye Mask is made from a lightweight fabric which has effectively shown in clinical trials to reduce itch and calm irritation and would therefore help soothe tired, sore eyes and the delicate areas of skin around the eyelids.

The pure silk is bonded with an antimicrobial which has been used in hospitals for over 20 years to promote healing. It inhibits bacterial and fungal growth without releasing chemicals onto the skin. In addition, the material allows air to flow through it freely which lets the delicate skin around your eyes breathe.

    Comfortable and effective

    I use this to help manage server dry eye as I am very sensitive to the overnight eye ointments normally prescribed. It also helps to sooth the skin surrounding my eyes which can get very dry, especially in winter.

    Didn't help my thyroid eye disease

    I have thyroid eye disease and need to wear an eye mask to keep my eyes closed at night. Lately I have had the added problem of eczema around my eyes, which I felt was being worsened by my usual eye masks. Thought I'd give this a try, but the eye mask isn't as high quality as I was hoping and is too loose, so it isn't firm enough to keep my eyes shut, which is painful as it rubs on my eyes. It doesn't feel as soft and smooth as I was expecting. The eczema around my eyes has improved, but it's hard to say how much the mask helped as I have had to use other masks, along with lotions and medicines as well.
