Hygiene of the eyelashes, eyelash roots and eyelid edge is important for dry or sensitive eyes, contact lenses wearers and for anyone experiencing meibomian gland dysfunction.

Meiboclean is a clear, cleansing mascara specially designed for daily hygiene of the eyelashes, eyelash roots and eyelid edge and recommended in case of:

  • Blepharitis
  • Dry eye related to meibomian gland dysfunction
  • Seborrheic dermatitis
  • Ocular rosacea

The special cotton brush gently eliminates flakes and crusts on the eyelash root. The active ingredients reduce the risks linked to bacterial proliferation*, eliminates impurities and soothes inflammation or irritation on the edge of the eyelids.

  • noni: a plant of the coffee family from Indonesia and Australia that has the feature of being super-resistant and known for developing on the most infertile soils by blocking communication between micro-organisms and thereby preventing their virulence.
  • propolis: is a mix of substances secreted by plants in order to protect their buds and from aggressions, in particular by bacteria and micro-organisms. These antimicrobial properties are given by polyphenol content.
  • urea: thanks to its keratolytic properties, UREA contributes to eliminating flakes in cases of seborrheic dermatitis and prevents obstruction of the meibomian glands.
  • cornflower
  • allantoin
  • panthenol

Apply morning and evening in the event of blepharitis and once a day minimum as prevention.

*A microbiological study was carried out to confirm the efficacy of Meiboclean on the specific blepharitis bacteria (Staphylococcus Aureus) and seborrheic dermatitis (Malassezia Furfur). The efficacy of Meiboclean on these bacteria is visible after a few hours with optimum results after 6 days.

    Eye care Meiboclean purifying mascara

    Started using this product 2 weeks ago & I can't believe how much it has helped my dry, itchy eyes due to occular rosacea/ blepharitis. I found myself constantly rubbing them till they were painful & sore but I no longer feel the need now. I have the mascara to try but can't review that yet as it's unopened.

    Meiboclean mascara

    I have problem to apply the product to my eyes lashes…the brush is keeping the product on the tip

    Is it better to apply at night or in the morning?

    Should I wash it with the product that I use to use on black mascara?

    I have sent an email to you directly to answer your questions.

    The tester I have spreads the gel across the white part of the brush.
    It is intended as a daily leave-on treatment to allow the active ingredients to work. There is no need to remove it.

    The white part of the brush is an applicator that is designed to gently rub and dislodge any tiny blockages from dried-on oily secretions on the eyelid edges.
    This debriding action unblocks the glands around the eyes to release soothing oil into the tears.

    It is recommended to apply it morning and evening in the event of blepharitis and once a day minimum as prevention.

    Well what can I say. I’ve been using this for the past 4 days as suffer with blepharitis and some ingrowing eyelashes top lid.
