Invented by an ophthalmologist to improve the care of patients' eyes naturally, EyeGiene is an advanced solution for improved eye health.

The EyeGiene Insta-Warmth System combines a soft mask with disposable warm packs (contains 10 pairs of heat pads (20 pads in total)) for the application of localised heat therapy to the eyelids treating:

  • Dry eyes
  • Meibomian gland dysfunction
  • Blepharitis, stye, chalazia

The EyeGiene Insta-Warmth System utilises a unique source of heat, which rapidly produces warmth for up to 10 minutes. In addition to a relaxing sensation, the warmth is known to improve the flow of natural oils in the glands in the eyelids that are critical for normal eyelid and tear film function.     Using the headband to keep the eye pads in place means having it firm to save slippage. This means the pads are pressing more firmly on the eyes than I like.

    The 'use once, throw away' system is superior providing it can be relied on to heat to the correct temperature.

    Having said all the above, the very best one-use pads are the original MGD ones which were more padded and the heating element wires could not be felt. Sadly superceded and no longer available.

    Good product - does the job, but I would have preferred the sachets to be individually wrapped rather than in two's as I an only treating one eye.
