HydraMed Night Sensitive eye ointment
Hydramed Night Sensitive is a lanoline free lubricating ointment ideal for use at night to help relieve the symptoms of dry eyes.
Hydramed Night Sensitive combines liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin with vitamin A and EXCLUDING lanolin for enhanced comfort and the thicker nature of the product means that it can often protect the eye throughout the whole night.
Vitamin A is part of the natural tear film and as such is very well tolerated as a lubricant. Vitamin A is required for the normal growth, maintenance and maturation of corneal cells and is therefore effective as a treatment when applied topically.

Excellent ointment - keeps my eyes moist at night by applying several times. If I don't use this, I end up with very dry sore eyes in the day (because I sleep with my eyes open unfortunately). It requires properly cleaning your eyes and eyelashes in the morning but it's worth it for the protection it gives

Unlike other night ointments I have used, this gel stays put and doesn't turn to liquid and leak everywhere during the night. I would recommend if you're having trouble with other gels!

I live in Spain but when I was last in UK I visited a Dry Eye Centre and they recommended your product. When I used it I found it much better than products prescribed for me by ophthalmologists here. Your product is less greasy, slightly easier to apply and is beneficial to my eyes particularly when they are feeling very dry. I have severe dry eye (and dry mouth as well actually, just need one more and I’ve got the jackpot).
However, just so you know, I can only order them when I visit UK or when my son visits us here. So if I don’t order any more for a while it is no reflection on your product.

Another recommendation by team at Butterflies, to help with my dry eye syndrome at night. It works well, I wake with much fresher feeling eyes BUT it is incredibly difficult tp apply just a small amount easily. It is a small tube and quite pricey so obviously I don't want to waste it.

Eye ointments can be a bit too fast exiting the tube. This can be a problem in the warmer weather we are having.
Popping it in the fridge for a few minutes before applying may help and avoid applying any pressure to the tube. - SMSandra M.Verified BuyerI do not recommend this productHow old are you? 60-69What eye health issues do you have? It didn’t last very long, seemed expensive for the size of the tube.
