iFlo is a ‘smart’ eye mask designed to provide heating comfort to the eyes. It works by using a USB cable connected to a power bank, computer, or other power source to heat the mask for 12 minutes before automatically turning off.

iFlo can relieve eye fatigue and discomfort caused by dry eye and be used for the treatment of MGD. It can also accelerate the blood circulation around the eye to improve black eye circle conditions.

The iFlo USB heated eye compress provides 3 heating temperatures (38-42°C) to meet different comfort demands. The heating time is 12 minutes for all 3 options. When the heating cycle is finished, it will automatically switch off.

The innovative design contours across the nose bridge (and is adjustable) giving the iFlo USB heated eye compress a better fit on the face for a more effective warming cycle.

The mask comes with an iCover sheet which is machine washable and dryable. The sheet can be heated 60 times before we recommend replacement.

Please note: for those switching from a microwaveable compress you may feel that this mask is not as hot when you first put it on. This is because it heats to a more regular and consistent temperature throughout the period of use. Microwaveable compresses/masks loose heat quickly so typically start hotter because they cool over time.

    Only small improvements needed.

    It does a decent job, it would be helpful if the cable were longer but I use a portable USB power bank for extra freedom from a wired charger.

    The other thing I noticed is having to be careful of the operation button - it works on the lightest touch so it's easy to accidentally graze it when your have your eyes covered which lowers the temperature, it would be nice if it weren't so easily triggered.

    Overall I still like it better than the microwaveable type which doesn't maintain a consistent temperature.

    Iflo heated eye mask

    Easy to operate with 3 different settings. I find the middle or high works best for me and the temperature is consistent. The adjustable nose bridge is helpful and the mask is comfortable to wear. I’m using the mask morning and night and massage the eyelids, afterwards. An audible beep happens twice during the 12 min cycle, indicating for you to blink a few times. 3 short beeps indicate the end of the cycle. It is a drier heat compared to a moist heat you may get from microwave heated mask. A microwave heated mask is what I used to help get rid of my chalazion but this IFLO USB one is convenient to manage the dry eye condition and easier to travel with. Two things to be aware of: firstly it’s a USB lead so ensure you have an adapter if you want to plug it in; Secondly, the lead is ridiculously short, approx a metre so I did have to consider where I was going to use it. As I am on the right side of the bed and the lead plugs in to the left side of the mask, even with an extension socket right by the bed, it is not long enough to use sitting upright in bed, so I lay on my side to use it.

    Works Very Well

    Easy to use and comfortable to wear. I particularly like the fact that you can remove and wash the cover, and replace it when necessary. I also like the wire fitting over the bridge of the nose so that you can get it to fit snuggly against the eyes. At first I could get no heat from it at all and wanted to return it. But it transpired I hadn't shoved the connection in far enough! Once it was properly connected, it has worked brilliantly.

    Good heated eye mask

    This eye mask works well but I have been used to using a wireless model. It’s a small quibble but I like to use the mask in bed before I get up for the morning and the lead is on the wrong side of the mask for me to plug in conveniently. Otherwise I like the design and performance.
