Meibopatch
An eye mask with a temperature strip to ensure use at the optimum temperature. Use twice a day to gently release warmth and give instant comfort to sore eyelids.
The Meibopatch is a microwaveable eye mask for the treatment for Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), blepharitis, chalazions, crusting, cysts and dry eye syndrome.
Use the mask twice a day at the start of treatment and when symptoms have been relieved, you may be able to use it just once a day. Your eyecare specialist may assess the severity of your symptoms and advise you whether to use your mask more often.
The heated Meibopatch is applied to the upper face so that the bridge of the nose and both the upper and lower eyelids are covered and will gently release warmth; stimulating the normal sebaceous oily secretions from the meibomian glands and offering instant comfort.
The mask box contains a red temperature testing strip which you can use to ensure your mask is at the correct temperature. After heating, place the mask onto the testing strip and leave for 30 seconds then remove to read the strip. To ensure hygiene we recommend buying a new Meibopatch every 1-2 months.
Please note the Meibopatch requires the use of a microwave oven.
