Optimel is one of the most innovative dry eye products on the market today and is well-known as an effective treatment for dry eyes. Made with 16.5% pharmaceutical-grade honey, Optimel Manuka Honey eyelid cream uses the natural antibacterial property of honey to relieve dry eye symptoms.

Blepharitis is frequently present with various skin conditions, including seborrheic dermatitis, rosacea and eczema. Seborrheic dermatitis has been associated with up to 46% of patients with MGD.

The skin’s ‘acid mantle’ is key to its barrier properties. Skin pH in atopic dermatitis patients is often high and the resulting cascade of changes contributes to this.

Optimel Manuka Honey eyelid cream helps to protect dry, flaky skin caused by common eye problems. With a low pH and high levels of emollient (Jojoba oil), this cream helps restore the skin’s acid mantle which is crucial for barrier function and antimicrobial activity.

    Answered my problem

    The area of skin around the tear duct has been dry and sore for months and now at last I have found the answer. This cream is superb, used each night just a tiny drop and the soreness and dryness have been sorted. It is easy to used from a small tube, and only a small amount required, not sticky or greasy either so no messed up lenses.

    Eyelid cream

    Stings a bit if you get it in your eye, has reduced the inflammation on my eyelid significantly. Highly recommend.

    Life saver.

    After months of inflamed eyelids and presumably from dry eyes, the online optician recommended this and haven’t had the problem lately, although less cold wind on dog walks lately which seem to aggravate the condition.

    No help from GP at all.

    Wasn’t able to work when eyelids really sore itchy and inflamed so wasn’t earning any money.

    Thank you. Would definately recommend.
