Ocuvite Complete 50+ by Bausch & Lomb is a convenient eye supplement for adults, taken as two softgels a day and features two tailored formulas in one.
The first provides specific micronutrients to support the complete visual system in 5 key ways, including Vitamin B2 to support normal vision, omega-3 DHA for brain function, niacin for the nervous system, calcium for neurotransmission and magnesium for muscle function.
The second addresses additional needs of adults in their prime years, including omega-3 EPA to support the heart, vitamin C for immune function, vitamin B6 for energy metabolism, vitamin D for bone strength, and vitamin B5 for cognition.
The formulation includes macular carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin, which are naturally found in the eye. These nutrients play an important role in helping maintain central vision and visual sharpness, especially during close-up tasks such as reading.
