Onyix sleep shields
Opaque, lightweight, silicone eye shield with an adjustable microfibre strap. Gently shelters eyes from draughts and low humidity environments. Latex free.
Recommended for sheltering eyes during sleep and air travel. Onyix (pronounced ON-ix) is an extremely soft, flexible, foamless shield made from silicone.
It gently shelters eyes from draughts and low humidity environments while also fogging up, creating a moisture rich environment while you sleep or rest. That makes it perfect for dry eye sufferers.
- One Onyix silicone shield
- One microfibre travel sack
- One stainless steel container
- Latex free.
Simply adjust the head strap until it's comfortable, and wear while you sleep. The blackout lenses make it completely dark, helping to promote relaxing, restful sleep.

If you suffer from dry eye that can be exacerbated by CPAP masks and if you use a CPAP mask, these sleep shields will not fit. The mask will have to go over the top of them and to secure a good mask fit, the mask will have to be tightened to such an extent that it makes the shields too painful to wear. So unfortunately I paid for an expensive product that I haven't been able to use.

I am sorry to read from your review that the sleep shields were incompatible with your CPAP mask.

Do the job of sealing eye orbital area. However, like all previous reviews, the cheap elastic used, loses its elasticity within 1 week. This is even after following the instructions to the letter, adjusting the size before putting on the goggles and never putting pressure on the goggle connectors when putting them on, instead only using only the elastic/headpiece to pull them on. As previously said, for £44 I really think a better quality system should be developed. Im a product designer and am even able to assist you in doing this. A small change would lead to a really high quality product and 5 star rating.

As a silicone product, there can be issues for more 'active sleepers' - we will certainly pass your comments onto the manufacturer.

Very lightweight and comfortable. While sleeping I don’t notice it and the eye shields are great at blocking out light and creating a chamber that stops eyes drying through evaporation.
So why 2 stars? Well it’s quite pricy and I’m already on my second one for the first one snapping within months. There is a very obvious weak spot where the eye shields join the nose bridge between them. If you are very careful and it holds out, the benefits are good.

Thank you for leaving a very helpful review, it's great to read they are working so well.
As you say, by being lightweight and comfortable the compromise is robustness.
If not already, when putting them on, it may be worth gently holding the eyecups to the eyes with one hand and passing the strap over to the back of the head to reduce pressure on the weak spot. - MLMrs Lynne S.Verified BuyerI do not recommend this productRated 1 out of 5 stars1 year ago1 Star
Looked very flimsy. Already have another product of theirs which is better but thought I'd check this out. Sent it back

These sleep goggles have a poor Finish, both trim of silicon google and attachment of band.
