Sutton Eyecare Instant heat lutein eye mask

The Sutton Eyecare Instant heat lutein eye mask is a single-use product ideal for occasional use or when travelling. Uses self-heating technology that warms up the mask as soon as you open the pouch so requires no external heat source e.g. kettle or microwave.

The active natural ingredients heat up the mask to at least 40°C and the consistent soothing warmth lasts for up to 20 minutes.

How to use your Sutton Eyecare Instant heat lutein eye mask:

STEP 1: Open the pouch and remove the eye mask. (Thanks to its air activation, will start to warm, reaching optimum temperature in 2-3 minutes).

STEP 2: Carefully peel away the upper crepe layer on the white side. Separate in the centre and this will create two loops to hang the mask over the ears.

STEP 3: With the nose slit downwards and the white side of the mask next to the skin, position the eye pads comfortably. Relax for 15-20 minutes.

STEP 4: Remove mask and dispose of it in a bin once cool. Do not reuse.

Each box contains TWELVE eye masks.

Conditions which usually benefit from regular twice daily treatment are:

• Meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD)
• Blepharitis
• Dry eye syndrome
• Styes and other eyelid cysts (Meibomian cysts known as chalazion)
• Seborrhoeic dermatitis or rosacea

Eyelid warming using the Sutton Eyecare Instant heat lutein eye mask is often used at the same time as artificial tears and dry eye gels and ointments. If you are a contact lens wearer you should discuss your situation with your contact lens practitioner who will advise you how best to use your eye mask.

Warnings:
Use as directed. FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Harmful if swallowed, contains iron. Do not heat in a microwave. Do not cut the eye mask. Do not use a damaged mask. The eye mask will not warm up if the pouch is scratched or torn.

If you have any eye problems, diseases or injuries around the eyes, allergies to any of the ingredients, or you are pregnant – please consult your doctor before use.

In case of any discomfort or allergic reaction, please remove immediately and rinse with cool water.

Due to differences in individual skin sensitivity, if the temperature is too high for you, discontinue use.

Please note: for those switching from a microwaveable compress you may feel that this mask is not as hot when you first put it on. This is because it heats to a more regular and consistent temperature throughout the period of use. Microwaveable compresses/masks loose heat quickly so typically start hotter because they cool over time.
