ThinOptics Brooklyns are the world's thinnest and lightest full-frame reading glasses. Weighing less than 9g, they are are beautifully thin, durable and lightweight. Brooklyns fit in a brushed aluminum, felt-lined 4mm thick case that fits so effortlessly into a pocket, purse or handbag, you may forget they're with you.

The optical grade polycarbonate used in ThinOptics reading glasses is the same material that is regularly found in high-end prescription eyeglasses. The lenses are made by one of the largest and most advanced optical lens manufacturers in the world. The frame is created from medical device materials, like nitinol, the super-elastic metal alloy used for heart stents.

    Useful and lightweight

    Bought these to read the miniscule print which manufacturers put on their product labels. Whilst they're not like normal reading specs they're slim/lightweight, and with a carry case, so they fit into a pocket etc. Sturdily made so you know they're not going to fall apart like the cheap ones in supermarkets. Only downside is being too large for my face so had to bend the metal arms to fit. ThinOptics should think about doing a male and female range. After all females represent probably over half the world population, especially in the over 50's!! Oh yes, and in a mid neutral colour ie anything but black.

    Useful specs.

    Decided to buy a pair of these reading specs to have in my bag when out and about. They take up little space and are well made. A bit big for my face but as I only have them on when reading that tiny print on labels --so useful when shopping--it doesn't matter.

    Brooklyn Reading Glasses & Case

    Excellent pair of glasses & case. Both are wafer thin so I never need worry about carrying a bulky pair of glasses which means I always have them with me. Super stylish too.
