7eye Airshield Cape dry eye glasses
A great frame size for medium to large faces, the Cape dry eye glasses from Panoptx are one of the most popular models and fit most people well.
The lens and frames become slightly smaller from the nose edges towards the outer eye corners where the sides join the frame front. Tapering to the sides, this style slightly features cat eye but without the upsweep. Cat eye glasses suit most people but are particularly good for round faces as their angularity sharpens and flattens softer face shapes.
This makes it one of the most popular models in the 7eye Airshield range, it fits most men and women, giving excellent protection from the elements.
Featuring extendable sides that can be adjusted with warmth and curved downwards, the 7eye Airshield Cape is ideal for medium to large faces. The eyecups are normal thickness so are slightly less visible.
One of the better models in the Airshield range for peripheral vision and for fitting prescription lenses into. If you are unsure which model to choose, we recommend this as a good all-rounder.
The close-fitting frame features the comfortable Airshield eyecup that helps block out wind, dust and pollen and also relieves the discomfort of chronic dry eye.
High quality 7eye SharpView lenses offer excellent vision and 100% UVA+UVB sun protection (even the clear ones). For more information on all the different non-prescription lens types we offer read our lens guide and if you need prescription lenses there is more information here.
It has a removable Airshield eyecup that will need to be replaced from time to time. The length of time that an Airshield lasts varies depending on the regularity and type of use.
Comes with a zip case and microfibre bag (can be used as a lens cloth).

For 45 years I have struggled with a damaged facial nerve resulting in a right eyelid that doesn't close. Any kind of cool breeze or the slightest bit of dust can easily damage my eye. I have tried numerous sunglasses but these are definitely the best. They are a good fit without being too tight against my face, with very clear lenses, perfect for hiking, golf and cycling. Great service from Butterfly Eyecare . . . my glasses arrived by next day delivery even though I had missed the cut-off time by nearly an hour Highly recommended.

After a two months of hard sailing the sunglasses exceeded all expectations.
Comfortable to wear, with prescription lenses I can see what I need to sea, there is far less eye strain at the end of the day and I can look into high winds with out smarting.

I've always suffered from eye irritation when playing golf on windy days, found these online and what a difference, little or no issues now. Have since bought another pair for my exterior work in the summer.
