Translucent, lightweight, silicone eye shield with an adjustable microfibre strap. Can also be worn during the day for an immediate solution to dry eye problems.

The Quartz is a soft, flexible, hydrating mask made from medical grade silicone and will rest inside the orbital bones.

Fitted with an adjustable head wrap made of microfibre, it gently shelters eyes from draughts and low humidity environments. While you sleep or rest, the goggles fog up, creating a moisture rich environment perfect for relieving dry eye and related conditions.     For dry eyes

    Bought these because I had an op on my eye & now my eyelid doesn’t currently close fully so quite sore in the morning, so I put eye drops in before bed & googles on, comfy to sleep in, and my eyelid is not sore and dry in the morning, , it’s so much better than the plastic clear patch they give you at the hospital to put on with micro pore .. would recommend

    Quartz sleep shields

    Very disappointed in product

    Bought to try and protect my eye after surgery for cancer. It no longer closes. Very cheaply made. 2 bits of rubbery stuff and bit of ribbon. It does not seal eye sockets. A waste of 40 pounds.

    I am sorry to read that the sleep shields were not suitable.
    It is tricky for manufacturers to make a robust shield that seals for everyone from soft materials suitable for sleeping in (medical grade silicone/microfibre strap).

    Sadly not for me

    I wanted to try moisture goggles despite knowing that I would probably not bear them overnight... I was right. I don't think the plastic is tight enough around the eyes to really have no airflow at all, so not sure how effective they are. I only managed to bear them for an hour before I took them off... and the headband can only be tightened to a certain point (and loosens pretty quickly), so if you have a small head, it might not be tight enough. I guess these would work for people with a large head and who are used to sleeping with goggles. As for me, I will stick to sticky tape to keep my lid shut overnight because of my lagophtalmos.

    I struggle to sleep wearing even a blackout eye mask so I understand where you’re coming from!

    Quartz eye shields

    Bought these for my daughter who has facial palsy due to surgically having a schwannoma tumour removed, we were using clinipore clear tape to tape her eye closed at night but unfortunately we are having difficulty sourcing the tape from anywhere, after researching online came across this product, we only use the one eye shield but is working extremely well.

    This product has helped with my dry-eye condition at night but not solved it altogether. I can now sleep for about 4 hours without my eyes getting stuck closed. Any longer than that and I still have to go through the uncomfortable eye-opening process and hope nothing will tear. When I wake in the night, I reapply my ointment, respray my lids and reposition the shields to get me through the rest of the night!
